1. Who We Are
This website is operated by Adrent Roofing Ltd (“we”, “us”). We are a roofing business providing inspection, quotation, installation, repair and maintenance services across Greater London and Surrey. These terms apply to all website users, prospective clients, and customers who instruct us to carry out work.
2. Website Use Terms
By using our website or submitting a form, you agree not to misuse, copy, or falsely rely upon any information provided. Website content is for general guidance only and does not constitute contractual advice or offer.
Contact or quote requests made through the website do not form a contract. A contract only arises when you accept our formal quotation and we confirm in writing.
3. Quotations & Pre-Contract Information
We offer free, no-obligation quotations. All quotations are:
- Valid for 30 days
- Based on the information available at the time
- Subject to revision if the scope of work changes or unexpected conditions arise
4. Formation of Contract
A binding agreement forms once you:
- Accept our quotation (verbally, in writing, or by paying a deposit)
- Receive confirmation from us of acceptance
The contract is subject to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Workmanship Guarantee (if applicable).
5. Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the contract.
You can cancel by contacting info@adrentroofing.co.uk or using our Cancellation Form. You do not need to give a reason.
If you request we begin work during the cooling-off period:
- You may still cancel, but
- We are entitled to recover costs for any work done before cancellation
No fee is charged for exercising this legal right.
6. Deposits & Payments
- A deposit (typically 30% including VAT) may be required to confirm a booking
- The remaining balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed
- Final documents (e.g. guarantees) are issued only after full payment is received
7. Workmanship Guarantee
Work carried out directly by Adrent Roofing Ltd is backed by a 10-year workmanship guarantee, subject to terms. This:
- Covers faults due to defective workmanship
- Applies only to works carried out by our own team
- Does not apply to referred or subcontracted work
This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Subcontracted or Referred Work
We may refer you to a trusted independent contractor if:
- We lack capacity
- The work requires specialist skills
In such cases:
- We will notify you before any agreement is made
- The contractor will quote, contract, invoice, and be paid directly by you
- Adrent Roofing Ltd will not:
- Take payment
- Issue guarantees
- Supervise, manage, or remain liable for the work
This ensures full legal and commercial separation.
9. Site Conditions & Customer Responsibilities
- You must ensure safe and clear access to the site
- Scaffolding or plant equipment may remain until payment is received
- You are responsible for securing planning permissions where required
- You must notify us of any site hazards or restrictions in advance
10. Spray Foam Removal Disclaimer
Where spray foam is being removed, we will take all reasonable steps to do so. However:
- Residue may remain in inaccessible areas
- We cannot guarantee full removal
11. Insurance & Liability
We are covered by public liability insurance of £5 million.
We accept liability for:
- Damage caused by our own negligence
- Failure to comply with legal obligations
We are not liable for:
- Delays due to weather or third-party suppliers
- Any subcontracted or referred work
- Damage caused by others accessing or altering the roof (e.g. installers, scaffolders)
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, injury, or fraud.
12. Data Protection
We handle your data lawfully and securely under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
We do not share your data without consent, except where required for contract performance or legal obligations.
13. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
- All complaints must be made in writing to info@adrentroofing.co.uk
- We will seek to resolve disputes promptly and fairly
- If unresolved, you may escalate via Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
